While Mom and Dad are Away, Brady will Play...
Brady spent Friday day and night with my parents aka Mimi and Popi and then Sat. through Sunday with Ryan's parents aka Nana and Grandpa. He didn't seem to miss us at all, he just played, played, played. Nana and Grandpa took him to the ballon festival (i think there's pics, just waiting on them) they said he had a great time! After not seeing him for two days he just seemed so big! You'll see in this first picture he has a pizza teething toy, we'll my mom called me last night and told me Brady had his first piece of pizza and I thought I was going to die, of course she was talking about this new toy she bought him. The last of pictures of him biting Mimi, she didn't believe until these were taking that he likes to bite, she told me he didn't know what he was doing but now she knows! Weekend Getaway..
Chicago:Cubs @ Wrigley Field/South Bend:Notre Dame
As most of you know Ryan is a HUGE Notre Dame Fan so for his birthday (back in June) I bought him tickets to a game. As you can imagine, he was thrilled. Unknown to me all living human things have to have a ticket, which meant that we would have had to buy one for Brady which meant another 300+ so I made a executive decision to just buy two tickets, and after many failed attempts to figure out how to get him there anyway we left him behind. As much as we missed him and worried about him we were able to have a great time just the two of us! We made a weekend of it, Ryan decided to stay in Chicago b/c it was cheaper. He bought us tickets to the Cubs game as well. So Friday morning after arriving we made our way down to Wrigley, we probably got their 2 1/2 hrs early and it was packed! It was amazing, the stadium was amazing and packed with Real Fans! After winning 13 to 8 the entire stadium sang the Go Cubs Go song, I've never experienced so much exciting tradition! Come Saturday morning we woke up real early and went back to the airport to rent a car and headed to South Bend, we ended up getting a convertible and crusin' with the top down! The Notre Dame trip was amazing, to walking the campus, to visiting the biggest campus bookstore I've ever seen, to watching the game! The tradition in the school was awesome, the fans were pumped the entire game despite the loosing season. You can see in the pictures the stadium was huge and packed! I haven't been that excited about watching a football game since Ryan played, it still gives me chills to think about it, I'm really speechless! And even though they didn't win we did get to see their first and second offensive touchdowns of the year. It was a terrific weekend, one we will never forget! It was a huge deal to leave Brady behind but we knew he was in goods hands and we really headed up having a weekend full of excitement! I have tons more pictures but these are a few I thought everyone would enjoy!

Sunday 16th...
Brady First Trip to Copeland's and First Highchair Experience @ Restaurant
Copeland's is the Katterich Family's favorite Restaurant to go for special occasions, they have the best Crawfish and dipping sauce! We used to drive to Addison to go eat @ this place but a couple of years ago it upped and disappeared and the only one we knew of was in Louisiana and we we're not about to drive there. My brother-in-law however discovered a newly built Copeland's in Grapevine so after many years of being deprived we got our Copeland's again. This obviously was Brady's first trip there and as you can see our big guy sat in his first high chair @ a restaurant, I almost started crying b/c he looked so big. You can see he was a little small so I put my purse behind him to keep him up.

Sunday 16th
Cousin Braeleigh Turns 1...
Her birthday was actaully the 14th but we celebrated on Sunday 16th. She gots lots of fun toys, swam, and tried some cake but didn't really know what to thought of it. Ryan and I got her a sit and ride toy that turned into a walker toy. It was a great party and Braeleigh was life of it! Brady spent most of the time inside with Ryan (naked) b/c he got a little too hot outside. Eating the Cake

Brady's First Volleyball Game...
Ryan played superdad @ my volleyball game last Monday. Mimi was there for a little while to help. Other than getting wacked a couple of times and perhaps getting a little fussy, Brady did well and had a good time cheering for Mommy's team!

Brady is 6 months!

Brady will be 6 months tomorrow, I can hardly believe it! He now has two teeth! He has also had his first ear infection, his first fever, his now sleeping on his stomach and has now tried Chicken Noodle Dinner, Macaroni Tomato Dinner,
Apples & Chicken, Garden Vegetable, and Mixed Vegetable of the 2nd Foods! He loves his foods, not so much his bottles anymore but attacks the foods! He loves water and drank out of his first own sippy cup Sat. I try not to give him a lot but the doctor said a couple of oz of water every once in awhile is okay! The last couple of weeks the poor little guy has not been himself with his ear infection, fever, and teething he's had it rough and so have Ryan and I, but at the end of the day with he looks at you with those huge blue eyes and smiles, it's all forgotten!
I think these might be my favorites pictures thus far, he really looks like a big boy! Just a couple of days beofre this we started working on him sitting up my himself, he can kinda tripod it, for a couple of seconds but man when she started posing him I guess he decided he was big stuff b/c he just sat there! It's kinda of scary how big he looks! And wow what a natural baseball player right?

Update
I realize I haven't posted in awhile and it's not b/c nothings going on, but the fact my time is limited these days. School has officially started and as much as I'm loving my new job t my new but old school, it is extremely hard to leave Brady everyday. I've been having to go to morning and afternoon practices due to volleyball tryouts so I leave before Brady is even awake and then by the time I pick him up around 5:15ish he falls asleep immediately when we get in the car b/c he wears himself out at daycare and sleeps for a several hours and when he wakes up it's time to eat dinner and go to bed. I guess it will make me look forward to weekends especially ones like this weekend.
Brady Update...He now has a tooth that has broken through but is not fully grown, we first noticed it on Wed. 22nd. (It's the bottom left tooth) We we're ganging out in the living room when I noticed it was being a little fussy, I realized I hadn't checked his gums in awhile so I put my finger in there and felt it and then saw it; and of course I got extremely excited, grabbed Brady and ran outside to tell Ryan who was mowing the yard at the time. In the last week it has popped out a little bit each day and then yesterday Sept. 1 I saw the signs of another one right next to it. He is still a little wiggle worm and a happy baby despite the teeth and an ear infection in both ear. Yes, he is now getting over his first ear infection. Ryan had to take him to the doctor all by himself on the 27th my first day of school! We caught it early so he really hasn't been unhappy, it just tugs on them every once in awhile. Ryan has been such a big help lately taking him to the doctor, taking him to daycare the last week, and watching him during my runs. (I don't think I've told everyone, but I'm training for another marathon, I know, I'm crazy!) Brady will be 6 months on the 12th, so be looking for a post of 6 month pics!
Other news, my sister Mandi is pregnant with her second, due Feb. 29th, yes yeap year! She is 14 wks, we're very excited! Ryan's sister Stephanie as now graduated from college and her little girl Braeleigh will be 1 yr on the 14th, which is just crazy! Ryan and I leave for Chicago/South Bend on the 21st. I bought Ryan Notre Dame tickets for his birthday, so we're leaving Friday morning and going to a baseball game at Wrigley Field that afternoon and then going to the Notre Dame game Sat. We're staying in Chicago through Sunday. Brady is actually not getting to go, he will stay with my mom Friday night and Ryan's mom Sat. night. We we're going to have to buy him a ticket to get into the Notre Dame game which was just silly! It will be extremely hard for us to leave him, but we did have a practice run @ my mom's house on the 17th and will d0 a practice run @ Ryan's mom's soon! Courtney, one of my best friends oldest little girl Avery turned 4, we celebrated @ Chucky Cheese! I met up with another one of my best friends Jennifer Dearden a couple of weeks ago for dinner. She had her little boy Jack with her , Ryan , her little girl was with her grandma seeing The Wizard of Oz. Here our a few pictures of Jack and Brady at dinner, they had a lot of fun together!
