Brady's First Christmas!
I can honestly say this was the best Christmas ever, having a kiddo makes Holidays so much more special. This was actually Ryan & mine first Christmas morning to wake up in our home, since my family never celebrated Christmas morning, I started, I think my junior year in high school, spending the night @ the Boozer's and waking up with them Christmas morning. So this was special for Ryan & I for that reason and also & more importantly having Brady. We actually had to wake him up b/c luckily he's a late sleeper & we had to get to the Boozers @ 9:30, we were late of course. Anyway, Brady was so fun to watch, he attempted to opened, things but really just ate the paper, which would have saved us a bunch of money just to give him paper but what's the fun in not spending money, right?
Good Morning & Merry Christmas Big Boy!

"Wow, look @ all of my presents!"
Ryan's present to me. I came home one night after one of my games & this was in my living room. I had asked for a antique pew bench & Ryan found this, much better! There antique theater seats from Paris. He found an antique store in Grapevine that takes 2 trips a year to Paris & brings make things! Isn't it gorgeous?
Ryan's mug I made him with pics of Brady & our little family

Some shirts I got Ryan, it was supposed to be a small Christmas for us, but of course I stuck to the budget & Ryan didn't

Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve @ my parents was a little chaotic for me anyway, unfortunately, I got a little wrapped up in the unimportant stuff like Brady being a little fussy & things not going just right instead of remebering what Christmas is really about & just being with family! Next year to help with the chaos we've decided to let all the kids open first so everyone can see, get pictures, etc. I absolutely love being at my parents house anytime during the holidays, my mom & I share the same passion for decorating our houses, all though I've got nothing on her.

Brady loves his football
I know you're probably not believing me that Brady was fussy after seeing this
My sisters & I put together photos of all of us & grandkids & gave my parents an album & calendar, they both cried
My nieces & nephew got a Wei from my parents
Yes, that's Pixie, I ended up giving Pixie away to my sister Tanya & her kids, I just wasn't able to spend the time with her that she really needed.

Mari got bedding for her big girl bed, b/c little sister will be her soon

Chris is a postman & my mom found the cutest mailbox with mail for Mari

"Mom loves me Best!" My sisters & I posing in our new shirts my mom got us; each of us is always saying were her favorite so she got us these shirts.

Brady is so looking to have 2 small cousins Mari & Braeleigh that just adore him, & the big cousins love him just as much

Mari was playing peekaboo with Brady, he was just giggling.

Trainer/Katterich Christmas
After having Christmas with the Alcorns, we ended to my parent's house to have our Christmas with her sister Drusilla & her family. In the past we always did Christmas Eve with them @ my parents house, had mexican food, & then went to the Christmas Eve service @ church but in the last couple of years or so, Drusilla, along with all her kids have moved to N. Richland Hills area & have moved churches so this year we decided we would start doing Christmas with the Trainers the Sat. before Christmas. We would still eat mexican food, but we added white elephant gift exchange & games.

Alcorn Christmas
Sunday for lunch we gathered together at Ryan's parents and had Christmas with Wendy's(Ryan's mom aka Nana) family. Mother & Mick (Wendy's parents), Jason (Wendy's brother), Cynthia (Jason's wife), & their kids Katie, Justin, & Jordan were there, along with Stephanie, Billy, & Braeleigh of course, unfortunately not everyone was able to attend, but those that were there had a blast. We had your traditional turkey dinner except Jason smoked it & it was to die for. It means so much to me that Brady has Mick & Mother (I only wish they lived closer) & Grandmommy (Charlie's mom) in his life, unfortunately both my sets of grandparents went to meet Jesus before Brady was born. I hope some day he understands & appreciates how lucky he was to have not only two wonderful sets of grandparents but great grandparents too!

Random:Brady
A couple of differnt pictures of Brady. This first one is his chill pose that he always does when playing on the ground that I blogged about awhile back. The second pics are Brady pulling up in his bed for the first time, & the last couple are of Brady climbing the step for the first time!
