Jan. 25th

15wks Baby Bump/First buy for Baby Boozer #2/Brady Potty Training

Today I'm 15wks! The baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). He/she is busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in their lungs begin to develop. Her/His legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although their eyelids are still fused shut, she/he can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds.

Yesterday I bought the baby's first present. Brady and I went shopping at Tom Thumb and I found a grape vibrating teether, Brady had a star one and just loved it and I thought a new one would probably be a good idea!

Brady had 1 #2 accident at school on Friday, but did go #2 once at school and then 2x for me. Sat. and Sunday he went all day with no accidents for #1 or #2, I think we're getting the hang of this, let's hope anyway!

Jan. 21st

Tonight was a funhraiser for our school at Chuck E Cheese, I got a free meal and Brady got 10 free tokens so I couldn't pass that up! He was a little uneasy at first, it was super crowded, but in no time, he was insisting he run around by himself with the card!

Jan. 20th

Sleeping with Lucky/No Accidents

Brady has been having to be coached alittle to go to bed without throwing fit, tonight he was doing really good, we read, said our prayers and then I started walking away. He started whinning immediately, so I asked him if he wanted Lucky to come sleep with him so mommy could go sit down, and low in behold, Lucky comes in, Brady told me to shut the door (which he nevers does)so she couldn't get out and not another peep! So after awhile I went in to check on them and they were both out, I just thought it was sweet and had to capture it! And I've decided I will never get sick of watching this boy sleep,he's an angel!

Today was Brady's first day at school with no accidents, he's done it 1 other at school but he didn't go poopy that day, today he made it to the potty every time including poopy, YIPPEEEEEEEE!!!!

Jan. 19th

Kendra's Basketball Game

Brady and I headed to Arlington/Mansfield today to watch Kendra play bball. She is the starting point guard for the 7th grade A team @ T Howard Middle School. We didn't get to stay long b/c the other team was really late, but while I was there she made a bball and got 3 assists. Her team ended up beating Cedar Hill by 1 point and I guess she failed out too! I love that we have another baller in the family!

Jan. 18th

Fun Day with Mommy/First Haircut

Brady and I had a great day today, we slept in, ate breakfast, went outside to play on the playground, drove his car around, blew bubbles, and just played. We then went to get a haircut, after 6 or 7 people in the last week calling Brady a girl, I decided it was time. I was very uneasy about cutting it, as crazy as it was, I LOVE HIS CURLS and didn't want them to disappear. But after several people told me if I trimmed it, it might be even more curly b/c the length was weighing it down, I gave in and boy does he look HANDSOME! I almost cried watching them cute his hair, but don't worry, I kept some curls and the place we went to Cool Cuts for Kids gave us a certificate and everything, I'm glad I did it!

Jan. 14-17

Lake Tahoe
Ryan and I were able to go to Lake Tahoe with his boss Jeff and his wife Crysti. This was Ryan's bonus for meeting his goal, a paid trip to Lake Tahoe, so even though I couldn't ski I wasn't turning this trip down and besides it will probably be our last get away just the two of us before baby #2! Day 1 we arrived in Lake Tahoe a little after lunch, as soon as we got there we checked in to our hotel and then headed over across the street to get something to eat at a bar and grill where we ate pizza and nachos and then it was off to get skis. Then we headed to the casinos for a little while but Crysti headed back early for some shut eye, well actually I headed up walking to Burger King. Day 2 Ryan and I got up fairly early, our clocks were off. We headed to the free breakfast at the hotel's restaurant where you could have anything on the menu, it was wonderful and we were greeted by the sweetest hostess with the mostes, Bonnie. Soon after breakfast Crysti, Jeff, and Ryan headed to ski, I walked across the street and did some sightseeing and shopping. Not soon after I got a call from Ryan that he broke one of his skis, and $450 later he had another set, HE WAS NOT HAPPY! After that we went to lunch a Mr. Ps and then they were off to ski again. I headed back to the hotel for awhile to catch up on blogging and then headed to the movies to see Leap Year. For dinner we went to the Naked Fish, I was not feeling so hot, and can't eat sushi anyway so I just had a salad and then went back to the hotel and went to bed while the boys went to the casinos again! Day 3 Ryan, Jeff, and Crysti headed to breakfast, I stayed behind for a little while, b/c I still was feeling great, but later went to eat and see Bonnie again, lol! After dropping them off to ski, I went back to the hotel to blog some more headed to get some souviners for us and then met them up the street at California Main Lodge, wear we ate lunch in a big cafe and then got some pics of the slopes. After that I went to get my nails done and went sightseeing and then met them around 4 and headed to the sleigh ride. My one request was that if I couldn't ski that Ryan take me on a sleigh ride and just up the street was the Borges Sleigh Rides, a family run business that's been around for years. I LOVED IT! The sleigh ride was great, we even saw a coyote! After getting cleaned up we went to dinner at the hotel's restaurant again for some steak and then back to the casinos, again Crysti and I didn't stay long. Day 4 Had to drag the boys out of bed to go to breakfast, then off to by last minute souvienrs and then back to the airport to reality. I had the time of my life despite not getting to ski, it was beautiful, relaxing, and over all a wonderful trip, thanks Jeff and Crysti, but boy did I miss my boy!
