Ryan's Flag football game/Picnic
Ryan has started playing in a flag football league with some friends of ours from high school, and this week they needed an extra player so he asked Tim to join him. So, Kara, Mandi (she needed to get out of the house, Chris was out of town), and I and of course the kids went to the game and had a little picnic. Mari and Brady had a blast together, we brought his little football and they threw it around!
Mandi ended up hanging out with us the rest of the day and later that evening the kids went outside to play on the playground! Brady hadn't been out there in awhile, the little dare devil, got right up there and slide head first without thinking twice about it!

Brady's 19 months
Brady is 19 months and growing! He is going to be Frankenstein for Halloween, since he is mommy and daddy's little monster! He once again took the most adorable pictures!
It's amazing how Brady is changing each day! He is talking up a storm, even started to make small sentences, you can play the parrot game with him, you know, "Brady can you say...?" and he'll attempt to repeat everything! Some of his new words are: spider (he can actually does the itsy bisty spider hand motions), mon for monkey and he makes monkey actions with his arms, He can pretty much say every one's name, Mimi, Popi, Nanny, Booga, Mari, Brae, Chase, Kendra, Kaylee, Kara, Tim Tata for Tanya, and something that resembles Mandi, etc. He says cup, trash, water, car, keys, etc. He also has animal sounds and actions, he still roars like a lion, he will do a duck sound, honk, honk, he moos when you ask him what a cow says, he attempts to bark or woof, when you ask him what a puupy says.
He also has started sleeping in the twin bed in his room, we bought a rail, we discovered that he likes the big beds surrounded with pillows. Although, he doesn't seem to be in his room long, he's having some trouble sleeping, since we took the paci away! He finally weighs 25 lbs, 26 to be exact.
He continues to love to be outside, he's absolutely is in love with his daddy, in fact, throws the biggest fit in the middle of the night if his daddy doesn't hold him, it actually is a little hard to take, mommy gets her feelings hurt! He still loves Barney, he actually has started to try and sing along with the songs and of course dance too!
It really is amazing, how he's just really starting to turn into his own little person, he's so independant, wants to do everything by himself! My baby is not a baby anymore!

Brady's First time to the State Fair
Brady and I went with Nanny and Booga and cousin Braeleigh to the fair today. It happened to be TX/OU weekend, but we started off being there when the game was going on so the fair grounds weren't that crazy! We had a blast, Brady and Braeleigh had a hay day together! Brady had a corn dog, fried smores, fried green beans, part of my turkey leg, some fried chips, lemonade, and I'm sure I'm leaving something out, Booga made us spend every tsingle icket! This was our first full day with no paci, it was actually was great b/c he was so busy, he didn't even notice, he actually fell asleep in the stroller for about 20 minutes w/out too!
Brady really didn't know what to think of Big Tex and was actually a little scared of all the animals too, surprisingly, I think he was just pooped! Overall we had a long, tiring, yet fun filled day! Thanks Nanny and Booga!

BYE, BYE PACI/Pink Out & Homecoming
Well, I made an executive decision, that we were going to take the paci away cold turkey today, I knew it was going to be a 3 day weekend for me, so what the heck right, 2 days shy of being 19 months? This morning was the last time Brady had a paci, it's bitter sweet!
Tonight was Pink Out night/Cats for the Cure @ my volleyball game, so Ryan and Brady came in pink to support, afterwards Ryan and Brady headed to Irving's Homecoming game and I met them up there when I was finished. Brady had such a busy night, he really didn't even realize he didn't have a paci!

Brady's Favorite New Toy
I've mentioned before, how much Brady loves his Little Tikes car that my friend Laura gave us, these are just some fun pictures of him driving and talking on the phone, just like mommy! And no, I haven't gotten around to painting the car yet, but Brady doesn't seem to mind!

Cheese!!!
Cheese again!

He even has reversing down!
