Sept 2nd
Balloon Fun/Aaron Play date
While Charley was napping, I tried to get caught up on some laundry. Brady decided he wanted to do sidewalk chalk, but it had rained the night before, so I opened up the garage and let in draw on the garage floor and I was inside (rt when you walk in from the garage its our laundry room so I could see him, don't think I'm a bad mom, lol) folding laundry. Brady was being little too quiet so I popped my head out and saw water balloons all over the garage floor, he was throwing them up in the air over and over again and then sliding onto the floor. Don't you love kids, he did sweep them all up into a pile when he was done, I just love this boy!

Play Date with Aaron
Aaron got a Nacho Libra and Batman cape while in San Antonio and the boys were running around. They are so cute together!

Charley's First Day at Daycare
Thursday Charley turned 6wks, so she is now old enough to start school. It was rough dropping her off this morning, but it helps that I've known the ladies taking her of for the last 10yrs and to know Nani is there to keep an eye on her too!
Big Brother doesn't like a picture taken w/out him in it, lol!

First Ranger Blastball Practice
Our previous blastball team didn't have a fall team, fortunately we were asked by another coach in Coppell to be apart of their team the Rangers. Let me tell you how excited Brady was to be a Ranger! Today was our first practice, as you can see Brady had a lot of fun!

Charley's First Ranger Game
Ryan and some of his buddies went in together for Ranger's season tickets, despite  my protest Ryan wanted us girls to go. The seats we're actually shaded and it wasn't too hot, and Charley was a good girl!

First Day Home as a Part Time Stay at Home Mom
This was my first week at school and today was my first full day home with the kids. It was so neat to wake I know that school was in session and I was at home with my kids! I'm so grateful that God allowed this to be possible for me and that Ryan of course was on board.
We woke up and Brady had is normal breakfast, a brown sugar pop tart and then we headed to the new park across the street. It felt really real, I was surrounded by a bunch of stay at home mommies! Brady had lots of fun!

Bring Charley to work day
I started back to work on Wed 18th, Charley will just be 5wks tomorrow, so Mimi kept her Wed & Thurs and Brady went to daycare. Wed. was kinda rough, but knowing she was with my mom and literally less than mile away, made it easier. Today was just a work day so I decided I would take her with me for a little while, Mimi came and picked her up about 11. Everyone thought she was a doll!

1 Month Check Up
Charley's a big girl 10lbs 22in, she's in the 75th percentile in both height in weight, Brady was always 75th in height but 25th in weight, so we're lovin the extra chunk! Her sleeping through the night has continued, Wed 11th 10pm-5am, Thurs 12th 10-4:30, and Fri 13th 10-6. Fri, I had a panic attack, even called the doctor, it seems Charley was a late birthmark bloomer. Its a huge birthmark that starts on her goes from her booby down to her belly button and all the way to her back, I thought it was a bruise at first and then a dye from fabric, but today the doctor confirmed its a birthmark! Our little Charley is extra special God stamped her with love!

1 month
Today Charley is a month old, crazy to believe, I know! She is a pretty easy baby, really she sleeps, eats, and pees, sometimes poops! She a great sleeper, just Sunday night I fed her at her 10 o'clock feeding and she didn't wake up until 5:30, so I'm hoping that will continue. She loves to be swaddled and be held close! She is eating 4oz every 3hrs, in the evening sometimes just 2 1/2 hrs. She loves her swing and bouncer. She's sleeping in her room but not her bed yet, we'll tackle that here pretty soon! So far she seems being easy going, she really just crys when she's tired or hungry. She does get a little cranky at night, she like to go outside to get settled. I'm having lots of fun dressing her up, if we're going out she has to have a bow and the bigger the better, lol! We go to the doctor on Monday, I'm anxious to see how much she grown!

August 11th
ER Trip
Today was by far the scariest day of my life! It is the hardest thing ever to see your child in pain and not be able to help them or make it go away!
Brady, Charley. and I were at my parent's house hanging out, Brady was in their dinning room eating a snack while Mimi was working on something in there and Charley was eating in the living room. All the sudden I heard Brady crying, at first I brushing it off, like I'm sure he's ok, but I soon realized something was different about this cry. I put Charley down and started to run towards him, when my mom came around the corner with Brady in her arms, his head buried in her chest, she was covered in blood and Brady was sobbing! All mom could say to me we was "don't look," and at that time, Brady picked his head up and complete horror and panic came over me. I have never seen so much blood in my life, Brady's entire head was covered in blood to the point I couldn't even tell where it was coming from. I got a wet towel and my mom put pressure on it while I was hysterical, didn't know if I should call 911, do I take him myself, can I physically drive him in mine and his condition, what do I do with Charley? We finally got it to stop bleeding and I calmed down enough to call Ryan and get in the car, my mom stayed behind with Charley.
As if things weren't bad enough when I got to the hospital there was no parking in the emergency entrance, the valet was full, so I finally pulled back around to the emergency exit and saw a police officer and told him I was parking illegally and was pretty cool about it! They took us right in and took great care of us, poor Brady was trying so hard to be brave, he had so much blood on him, he thought his arm was hurt. Ryan got there soon after, but not before I got questioned over and over again, I know they have to do that, but a mother in panic for her child who was truly involved in a accident shouldn't have to worry about if people believe her story or not. They cleaned Brady up and we for the first time were able to see the actual cut, it was large. They put some numbing stuff on him and sent us off to the minor emergency care where they told us he would have to get stitches. After waiting just a few minutes they came in and told us it would be staples instead, I was sick to my stomach, I would have done anything to switch spots with him and take it away. Brady had to get swaddled like a baby for them to give him staples, poor baby was screaming for us, and all we could do was console him the best we could and do our best to hold back the tears. It was so quick, literally they took a staple gun and put 4 staples in his head, he was so brave! As soon as it was over, the doctor gave him some gloves and a mask which he saw Brady eyeing before hand and Brady was fine and he was ready to go get his Big Batman daddy promised him for being Brave!
I will be completely fine if I never have to see either one of kids in pain like that again. It made me think, how hard and what a huge sacrifice it was for God to see his son Jesus in such pain on the cross, I can't imagine!

2nd Trip to Dentist
Today Brady went to the dentist again. His first visit was last year during spring break, so we decided it was time to go back. I wasn't a big fan of the last dentist so we switch to Dr. Morgan, which was actually my dentist growing up. They make going to the dentist so much fun! Brady had to go back w/out me, I was a little nervous, but they said he did great and his teeth look good!

First nap in bed
I decided Charley needed to start getting use to not being rocked or bounced while sleeping, so we tried to take a nap today in our bed, she slept about 30min, not bad for the first time.

Mari's 5th Bday Party
Today Mari had a tea party at Mimi & Popi's to celebrate her bday, this was Brady's first but only only tea party he will attend, espcially if Ryan has anything to do with it! Mandi did a great job incorporating the 2 boys, the boys got king crowns & swords instead of princee crowns & necklaces. By the end of the party the boys aka bad guys were chasing the girls with their swords and having a ball!
