2 Birthday Parties: Phoebe & Ryan

Phoebe turned 1 on Jan. 27th and we celebrated @ Mandi and Chris' house today! Phoebe actually started walking just last week, well, about 10 steps or so and then she'll fall and crawl! It's crazy to think that just a year ago this tiny baby was 5 wks early and only weighed 4lbs! They grow up way too fast!!!

I've never seen a 1 yr old enjoy their cake as much as she did!

2nd Party: Ryan turns 4!

One of my best friends (jennifer dearden) little girl also had her party today!

Brady wasn't very socialable, we spent most of the time outside running around. There was a face painter their, Brady didn't want his face done, but I finally convinced him in doing is hand, so he got a puppy on his hand!

Feb. 6th

I finally get to hold Landry

I was home again with Brady today, he seems to be feeling better, but was still running a little fever last night. I had my mom come over and sit with him while he was napping so I could go hold Ms. Landry on her first day @ home!

Feb. 5th

Puppy Towel

Brady got this puppy towel for Christmas, and I can honestly say it's one of his favortive gifts. He will walk around asking for his puppy towel, even if we haven't bathed. And after a bath, we have to use this towel, I wrap him up real tight, and he'll go "woof woof, I'm a puppy!" Or scream "puppy towel!"

Feb. 4th

LANDRY KATE SMITH ARRIVES...

& Brady has the flu

Kara and Tim welcomed their first baby girl last night @ 9:11, Landry arrived weighing 6lbs 12oz and 19inches long.

My plan was to visit Kara during my lunch period and then take Brady up there after practice but I got a surprising phone call from Wendy that Brady had a fever, thinking it was just an ear infection, b/c Brady had not shown any signs of not feeling well, I made an dr. appt. By the time we got to the dr. office, Brady had 103 temp and was plentiful, he was curled up in my arms, not moving or making a peep, I was a little worried. Then while sitting there, Brady started to cough and then thre up all of the both of us and the office floor. I got him cleaned up and the doc came in, his ears checked out, but his throat was real red she said, so she decided to do a flu test, and sure enough it wa the flu! I'm a bad mommy, b/c none of got our flu shot this year, I guess I learned me lesson!

Instead, when waited at home for Ryan to get home, and waited for the phone call that she was pushing, so about 8:00, Tim texted, and I rushed up there!

Since Brady got the flu, I decided not to hold the baby, which was extremely difficult not to do!

Today when going to school, Brady was just being cute, playing with his Barney, and I had to get some pictures...and no I wasn't driving @ the time, I was @ a stoplight! I told Brady to cheese and he did then he said Barney cheese, so he held Barney up for me to take his picture!

Feb. 1st

Superbowl Party
So, I'm holding was used to be a football bowl, dumby me, turned the burner on and melting the bottom right out of it, and the bad thing is, it wasn't even mine. We had a few people over for the superbowl, I didn't take many pics, just a few of Brady and the kiddos.

Jan. 28th

Weather Day-Home With Mommy

Today, school was cancelled so Brady and I got to spend the day together, and we had the best time! It made be realize how much fun we could have if I was able to stay home with me everyday. Brady has turned into the best helper, and I've promised myself I'm going to take advantage of it and allow him to help with as much as possible and make his wife really thankful for him someday! He's a run down of our day...

Brady loves hats and loves for mommy and daddy to wear hats too, I know I look a little greesy, we were lazy and in our pjs all day!

WE COOKED...

Brady helped me make corn casserole, first the corn...

then the butter, he thought it was a little slimmy

...then we stirred.

Brady helped me take the clothes out of the dryer onto the couch

Then he attempted to stand on a chair and get the clothes out of the washing machine, but he was a little short, so I added it to him and then he put them into the dryer.
