Cousin Braeleigh Turns 1...
Her birthday was actaully the 14th but we celebrated on Sunday 16th. She gots lots of fun toys, swam, and tried some cake but didn't really know what to thought of it. Ryan and I got her a sit and ride toy that turned into a walker toy. It was a great party and Braeleigh was life of it! Brady spent most of the time inside with Ryan (naked) b/c he got a little too hot outside.

Brady's First Volleyball Game...
Ryan played superdad @ my volleyball game last Monday. Mimi was there for a little while to help. Other than getting wacked a couple of times and perhaps getting a little fussy, Brady did well and had a good time cheering for Mommy's team!

Brady is 6 months!
Brady will be 6 months tomorrow, I can hardly believe it! He now has two teeth!
He has also had his first ear infection, his first fever, his now sleeping on his stomach and has now tried Chicken Noodle Dinner, Macaroni Tomato Dinner,
He has also had his first ear infection, his first fever, his now sleeping on his stomach and has now tried Chicken Noodle Dinner, Macaroni Tomato Dinner, Apples & Chicken, Garden Vegetable, and Mixed Vegetable of the 2nd Foods! He loves his foods, not so much his bottles anymore but attacks the foods! He loves water and drank out of his first own sippy cup Sat. I try not to give him a lot but the doctor said a couple of oz of water every once in awhile is okay! The last couple of weeks the poor little guy has not been himself with his ear infection, fever, and teething he's had it rough and so have Ryan and I, but at the end of the day with he looks at you with those huge blue eyes and smiles, it's all forgotten!
I think these might be my favorites pictures thus far, he really looks like a big boy! Just a couple of days beofre this we started working on him sitting up my himself, he can kinda tripod it, for a couple of seconds but man when she started posing him I guess he decided he was big stuff b/c he just sat there! It's kinda of scary how big he looks! And wow what a natural baseball player right?

Update
I realize I haven't posted in awhile and it's not b/c nothings going on, but the fact my time is limited these days. School has officially started and as much as I'm loving my new job t my new but old school, it is extremely hard to leave Brady everyday. I've been having to go to morning and afternoon practices due to volleyball tryouts so I leave before Brady is even awake and then by the time I pick him up around 5:15ish he falls asleep immediately when we get in the car b/c he wears himself out at daycare and sleeps for a several hours and when he wakes up it's time to eat dinner and go to bed. I guess it will make me look forward to weekends especially ones like this weekend.
Brady Update...He now has a tooth that has broken through but is not fully grown, we first noticed it on Wed. 22nd. (It's the bottom left tooth) We we're ganging out in the living room when I noticed it was being a little fussy, I realized I hadn't checked his gums in awhile so I put my finger in there and felt it and then saw it; and of course I got extremely excited, grabbed Brady and ran outside to tell Ryan who was mowing the yard at the time. In the last week it has popped out a little bit each day and then yesterday Sept. 1 I saw the signs of another one right next to it. He is still a little wiggle worm and a happy baby despite the teeth and an ear infection in both ear. Yes, he is now getting over his first ear infection. Ryan had to take him to the doctor all by himself on the 27th my first day of school! We caught it early so he really hasn't been unhappy, it just tugs on them every once in awhile. Ryan has been such a big help lately taking him to the doctor, taking him to daycare the last week, and watching him during my runs. (I don't think I've told everyone, but I'm training for another marathon, I know, I'm crazy!) Brady will be 6 months on the 12th, so be looking for a post of 6 month pics!
Other news, my sister Mandi is pregnant with her second, due Feb. 29th, yes yeap year! She is 14 wks, we're very excited! Ryan's sister Stephanie as now graduated from college and her little girl Braeleigh will be 1 yr on the 14th, which is just crazy! Ryan and I leave for Chicago/South Bend on the 21st. I bought Ryan Notre Dame tickets for his birthday, so we're leaving Friday morning and going to a baseball game at Wrigley Field that afternoon and then going to the Notre Dame game Sat. We're staying in Chicago through Sunday. Brady is actually not getting to go, he will stay with my mom Friday night and Ryan's mom Sat. night. We we're going to have to buy him a ticket to get into the Notre Dame game which was just silly! It will be extremely hard for us to leave him, but we did have a practice run @ my mom's house on the 17th and will d0 a practice run @ Ryan's mom's soon! Courtney, one of my best friends oldest little girl Avery turned 4, we celebrated @ Chucky Cheese! I met up with another one of my best friends Jennifer Dearden a couple of weeks ago for dinner. She had her little boy Jack with her , Ryan , her little girl was with her grandma seeing The Wizard of Oz. Here our a few pictures of Jack and Brady at dinner, they had a lot of fun together!

HAIR TODAY..GONE TOMORROW!
Yesterday Aug 15, I finally did it! I chopped 10 inches plus and yes it's still at my shoulders! I'd been talking about doing it for months and finally woke up and decided yesterday was the day! I feel like a new women, I can't even remember the last time I had a hair style. I cut it not just for a new look but to also donate my hair to locks of love which is pretty cool!I was pretty nervous at first but eased right in to it real quick, especially when she told me about their hair extensions, which is the pink you see, it just clips in, fun right? I thought it would be fun just to do it plus to see the reaction on Ryan's face would be priceless! The before pictures don't do my hair justice b/c she brushed it out to death but I have to admit, I was in love with my hair and loved curling it and wearing it down, but those days were far and few between with it being so hot, Brady wanting to pull it, and let's face it getting caught in my armpits too so it spent more time pulled up which is why I new it was time to let it go and let somebody else enjoy it! It will be missed but I have agood feeling that this new hair and I are going to have some lots of fun as well, I can see us now, hee hee! :) By the way Ryan and Brady like it too!

I'm 5months!I'm a day early but tomorrow,
August 12th, Brady will be 5months! I can't believe it, it really seems like yesterday
we we're bringing him home! So much has changed in the last couple of weeks he has now tried7 foods, just yesterday he rolled over from our back to our tummy, he has discovered his feet and loves to play with them, he continues to play with his paci, taking it in and out and even purposely opens his mouth wide enough to get the bottom of it in his stuck in his mouth and just talks, it's really funny! He also continues to open his mouth real wide and attack our faces and then he'll cuddle nestled up right in your neck! I hate to say it but he loves TV, he's just fascinated by it, but I've promised Ryan that he won't be one of those fat couch potato kids who does nothing but stays in and watches TV! He is just the happiest baby, especially in the morning, he wakes us up talking and playing in his crib, we can't help but waking up giggling at him!I have a week left with him before school starts and we're going to make the best of it! I'm thinking within the next couple of weeks we will announcing his first tooth and I'm sure much more! I just can't help but thank God everyday! Oh...today is my sister's b-day, Happy Birthday Mandi!

Mari turns 2!
My middle sister Mandi's little girl turned two yesterday, we celebrated her birthday on Sunday! She is just a adorable doll and a ham, just like her mother; I can't believe she's two already! She had a great time opening presents, throwing them aside and asking for more presents! She is so loving and motherly to Brady that we decided to get her a little mommy daycare set that came with a carrier, bed, and play mat with mobile, hoping she will continue to me a good helper to me and her mommy someday when they decide to give Mari a little brother or sister! Which we're all ready for, hint hint!

20 wk Update
Brady was 20 wks yesterday and so much is happening. Besides eating cereal and now adding applesauce to our menu and don't forget rolling over, he is just growing up so fast! This last week he has really started to notice our faces, he wants to touch it and or bite it if your Ryan's nose! On the 18th I decided that I really needed to start working on Brady putting himself to sleep for naps during the day in his bed and what do you know the first day he played for about 15 minutes in his crib and then fell asleep for about 2 hrs. This was also the day we started eating cereal two times a day too so it was a big day! Since then he continues to play in his crib and take naps really well and Friday 27th I found him playing in the crib after a nap on his side trying to roll over from his back. At night we still have been swaddling him and using the sleep positioner but after about a wk or so of finding him in the corner of the bed wiggling right out of the positioner and then Sunday night the 29th finding him in the corner on his side I started getting worried that he was going to roll over and get stuck in his swaddler so last night 30th was Brady first night to sleep without them both and he still slept like a champ! I just know any day he will be rolling over from his back so until the I just stand by with my camera!
